Quick information about infographics and their creation processes

Hello, y'all !!!

Today I will share a post all about infographics. Well, I prepared infographics for an assignment and I thought I could share a post about this process. Maybe it will be useful to you one day. First of all, what is an infographic? According to Nediger (2024), "An infographic is a collection of imagery, data visualizations like pie charts and bar graphs, and minimal text that gives an easy-to-understand overview of a topic". They are very efficient and enjoyable in providing brief information about a topic. I prepared two infographics, their topics are ethical-legal issues in technology use and plagiarism. I used two different websites to design them, Piktochart and Canva. My favorite is Canva because there are more options and opportunities in the free version while Piktochart (money grubber:/). But if you are enough rich to buy the pro version :) I recommend using Picktochart, as it is more professional. Mini infographic creation guide:

  1. Do extensive research on your topic and take notes!!!

  2. Search and select the template that best suits your topic. (You don't need to use a template, you can create your infographics from scratch).

  3. Edit and organize your template according to your topic, interest, and desires.

  4. Keep your sentences short and provide only the necessary information.

  5. Add catchy stickers, graphics and photos to capture your audience's attention.

  6. If you use any external sources, include your references at the end.

I will add my infographic as an example. Thank you for reading the article. I love you all.
