Designing AI-integrated Teaching Material

Hi there!
In this post, I'm going to write about our final assignment: Designing an AI-integrated Teaching Material and preparing its ASSURE lesson plan. Well, for this task, we were supposed to creating a worksheet that made learning both interactive and enjoyable. The topic we chose was "movies", which aims to highlight vocabulary usage in real-life contexts.
The first activity of the worksheet aims to review movie genre vocabulary and check students' understanding. For the main activity, we integrated ChatGPT. Students used it to plan a movie night by selecting genres, deciding on a time, etc. ChatGPT acted as a guide and mediator. Finally, students collaborated on creating a poster to organize their movie night plans. We used Canva (again :) to design the worksheet and poster templates. Lastly, we developed an ASSURE lesson plan. The acronym stands for analyze learners, state standards and objectives, select methods, media, and materials, utilize media and materials, require learner participation, evaluate, and revise. I enjoyed this process and would like to use this type of activity in my future classes. I will add links to the material and ASSURE lesson plan, you can review them.
